Different Settings for Page |
What is Page Setup? |
You can change your page orientation quickly in Word. Some documents you may want your paper to be in a landscape (horizontal) mode while others you would like to use portrait. Portrait is the default for new documents. |
To change your page setup follows these steps: |
1. Click the Page Layout tab. |
2. Click the Page Setup Dialog group. |
3. Click the Margins, Paper, or Layout tab. |
4. Change the margin, paper, and layout options. |
5. Click Default. Then click Yes. |
What is Page Break? |
You can include a Page Break anywhere in your document. You can also specify where Word positions automatic page breaks. |
For Insert a Page Break follow these steps: |
1. Click where you want to start a new page. |
2. Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon. |
3. Click Page Break in the Pages group. |
Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + Enter to insert a page break from key board shortcut. |
How to Set the Margins? |
Microsoft Word-2007 offers numerous page margin choices. You can use the default page margins and you can also specify your own. |
Follow the steps below for set the Margins: |
1. In the ribbon, click the Page Layout tab. |
2. Click the Margins tool in the Page Setup group. |
3. Click Wide. |
How to Set the Page Size? |
You can change your Word document paper size and you can also apply these settings of page size to specific parts of your documents. |
These are the following steps for change the Page Size of a word document: |
1. Click on the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon. |
2. Click Page Setup |
3. Click the Size button. |
4. Select a Option which you want. |

What is Hyperlink? |
A hyperlink is an inter-connection between two web pages. Hyperlinks can be produced from text or graphics or both. |
Follow these steps to create links to other web sites and pages within your site: |
1.(i) Type the text you want to appear on the page as a link or add the graphic that will be a link. (ii) Highlight the text or graphic and click on the right side button of mouse. (iii) Click on the “Hyperlink” from the list. |
You can also press CTRL+K for key board shortcut. |
You can use the Insert tab in the following way: (i) Click the Insert tab on the Microsoft office-2007 Ribbon. (ii) Click the Link button on Hyperlink Gallary. |
2. A Dialog box will be open. |
3. From the Hyperlink dialog box, change the Text to display if necessary |
4. Type the file or Web page name in the appropriate box or select from list. |
5. Click OK to create the link. |
Create a hyperlink to a blank e-mail message |

4. Either type the e-mail address that you want in the E-mail address box, or select an e-mail address in the Recently used e-mail addresses list. |
5. In the Subject box, type the subject of the e-mail message. |
6. Click “OK”. |
How to save a web pages? |
To save a web page does the followings steps: |
1. Click the Office Button |
2. Move the cursor over Save As |
3. Click Other Formats. |
4. Under Save as Type, click Web Page |
5. Type in the name of the document (without spaces). |

2. In the Protect group, click the Protect Document button. |
3. Choose an option from the Protect Document drop-down list. |
Unrestricted Access |
For Un-restrict the access of Document these are the following steps: |
1. Click the Review tab on the Ribbon. |
2. In the Protect group, click the Protect Document button. |
3. Choose unrestricted access from the Protect Document drop-down list. |
